“I just got recovered from ankle injury during training few weeks ago when Sudirman Cup was being held. That's why at Thailand Open I was absence due to my recovery, I still felt the pain. “Hopefully my condition is getting better when the Indonesia Open starts. I will try my best to get the best result at this year's BIO," said Ihsan.
Ihsan who has to fight in the qualifying will face Wei Nan from Hong Kong in the first round. They once met at the 2016 Malaysia Masters. At that time, Ihsan had to surrender 18-21 and 15-21. If he manages to overcome Wei, Ihsan has the chance to take on another Indonesian player, Sony Dwi Kuncoro in the second qualifying.
