They both seemed troubled when facing Hong Kong's Or Chin Chung/Tang Chun Man. However, Hendra/Ahsan finally ended the match with victory in a two game straight match, 23-21 and 25-23.
"Today we were quite overwhelmed, we received continuous attack. We always had a tough matches meeting them, we also lost at the Thomas Cup," Hendra said.
Ahsan stated similarly. "We were troubled since their quality is good, we were overwhelmed for several times, hopefully we can do better next time," Ahsan added.
"The point is, the key to our victory in the match is to play optimally and apply planned strategies, and not getting carried away with the previous defeat," Ahsan said.
In the second round, they will take on Denmark's pair, Mads Conrad Petersen/Mads Pieler Kolding.
"We have to be ready to face them, because their quality isn't bad at all," Hendra concluded.
