Intanon's Sensation; to Reach Final

JAKARTA - The journey of Thailand's women's singles player, Ratchanok Intanon, is shining at Indonesia Open 2014 tournament. She just stunned a more favorable player from China, Wang Shixian, in a thrilling battle for a ticket to final.

Intanon started her battle against very well; her rallies and drives let her lead from Wang. Unfortunately, after interval, Intanon was a bit careless and inconsistent in applying tactics and strategies instructed by her coach.

The result was disastrous, Intanon who was leading 15-11 started to lose her grip as Wang who finally found her best shape took over the lead. Intanon finally forced to surrender and let go the first set, 21-19.

Entering the second game, a somewhat similar battle with the previous on shown by both players, only this time, Intanon could keep her consistency and be more patient to wait for the right time to attack. As a result, Intanon won the second game and gave herself more time to breath.

In the second game, Intanon had her self confidence back and gloriously scored leaving Wang behind. Entering interval, both players showed signs of fatigue. Luckily for Intanon, the supporters at the stadium were on her side and it gave her more motivation. It didn't take long for Intanon to end Wang Shixian's resistance with 21-16.
