Upsets emerged on the fourth day of the BCA Indonesia Open Superseries Premier 2017, Thursday evening (15/6). Della Destiara Haris/Rosyita Eka Putri Sari were surprisingly able to beat the China's sixth seed, Luo Ying / Luo Yu, in a three game match, 20-22, 21-14 and 21-14.

This is their first victory for Della/Rosyita over the twins (Luo Ying and Luo Yu). In the previous two meetings, Della/Rosyita were always defeated; in 2016 China Open and 2016 China Masters.

"A tough match, they're rally type players, we should have not been in hurry," Della said after the match.

"We have to focus, be patient, and be able to steal a chance to score. The key is, well, to be more focused and to be patient while we are defending or attacking," Rosyita added.

With this result, Della/Rosyita do not want to think too far. Their next focus is the quarter-final match which will take place tomorrow, Friday (16/6). In the quarter-final, they will challenge Korea's third seed pair, Chang Ye Na/Lee So Hee.

"We can still advance to the quarter-final, we keep on thinking how to motivate ourselves rather than to think about other people or the public. It will come automatically when we are bothered with those things it will burden us. I prefer to focus for tomorrow's match and to play better," added Rosyita.

"We will discuss with the coach about tomorrow's match and with Greysia. Most importantly, we need to focus and keep our stamina fit," Rosyita ended.
